Becky and Elisha’s wedding may quite possibly be my favorite wedding thus far. They seemed to have a wedding that every bride dreams of….beautiful venue, splendid weather, amazing flowers and attention to detail, all rolled into one. Basically, a perfect wedding. As their wedding unfolded and I documented their day, it was clear to me that it was perfect for reasons other than all the ‘stuff’ we as brides spend so much time worrying about.

Family, friends, faith and tradition….these are the things that I observed to be the most important “details” of their day….and yes…it was, perfect.

Adriane and Case’s wedding was one of the last weddings I photographed in Nashville before moving cross country to Spokane, Washington. Although I’m looking forward to photographing weddings in Washington…I’m already missing Nashville….and Southern weddings! Janet & Kit Wedding Vow Renewal

Surrounded by close friends and family, Kit and Janet celebrated their 20th wedding anniversary with a vow renewal ceremony at CJ’s Off the Square in Franklin. It’s easy to see in the pics below, these two have many, many more great years ahead of them!

Hajar and Chancelor – Nashville Wedding Photography

If I could give an award for “Most ‘Laid Back’ Bride and Groom” it would go to Hajar and Chancelor. So much so, that I almost went to the wrong church the day of the wedding as Hajar forgot (oops!) to tell me that she had changed churches. Did I mention that they planned their Nashville wedding from California…with most of the guests coming from out of state? How they did it and didn’t seem to stress about it all, I’ll never know. Enjoy some of my favorites from their wedding…especially the impromptu “photo booth” at the end of the series! Holly and Drew – Knoxville Wedding Photography

My husband, Brad, usually handles our blog posts…but he is out of town and I couldn’t wait any longer to share some detail shots from Holly and Drew’s wedding! I think you will agree Holly did A LOT of planning for her wedding. I loved the lavender that was used to toss at the couple as they left the reception…it smelled AMAZING! Bethany & James – Nashville Wedding Photography

Bethany and James’ exchanged their vows in front of friends and family at a small intimate church near their home in Culleoka. Bethany left no detail untouched…from the absolutely stunning Maggie Sottero wedding dress and picture perfect flowers to a beautiful cake (and yummy) by The Bake Shoppe. The Westbury House in downtown Columbia was beautiful in every way, and guests had a great time enjoying the reception. Bethany had wanted some photos in front of a fountain…and downtown Columbia obliged that request. The whole day seemed very familiar to me, as I had photographed Bethany’s sister’s wedding a little over a year ago–it was nice to be around such friendly loving people once again!

Robby & Christina’s Baber House Wedding

Christina & Robby were married recently at The Baber House at Kennesaw Farms in Gallatin. Robby is probably the biggest UK Basketball fan I’ve ever met, and Wildcat blue was well represented throughout the day.

The weather and wind didn’t cooperate quite like they would have wanted for their wedding day, but it was a beautiful wedding, regardless. Thanks so much for letting us be there to capture the beginning of your new family and journey together….you guys looked beautiful and so happy together…and Ephram, too!

Welcome, baby Austin! I’d like to thank Lori and Paul for letting me come to their home to photograph Austin’s newborn session while he was just days old. I know it’s not an easy time to have guests over with a newborn, much less a photographer. He’s absolutely beautiful!
