Spokane Engagement Session – Manito Park – Mary and Josh

When Josh and Mary contacted me about their engagement session, they asked if they could bring Josh’s daughter and their dog. I loved this idea. First of all, I’m a sucker for a dog. But more important, as someone who grew up in a blended family, I know how important this milestone is in a young person’s life. Not only do I hope Josh and Mary love these images for years to come, I hope Josh’s daughter and Mary’s soon to be step-daughter, will enjoy them too. After all, they are starting a new branch in her family tree!

Spokane Engagement Session at Manito Park – Kelsey and Mike

I knew Kelsey was a kind soul the moment I met her for coffee last fall to discuss her wedding. I learned about Mike and how he is an avid hunter (even proposed during a bear hunting trip!). I told her I was pregnant, and she told me how happy she was for me….just beautiful inside and out, I thought. Fast forward to the day of Kelsey and Mike’s recent engagement session. The two get out of his truck, with a huge gift bag. Kelsey again tells me how happy they are for me and our family…and gives me a baby gift! I was so appreciative of this gesture, that after the session I immediately called my husband to tell him about the gift (who said we should be giving THEM a gift, not the reverse.) Throughout the session, the pair could not have been kinder to me, or each other. I hope you enjoy the images we captured as much as I do! Looking forward to their wedding day in August!

Jessica and James – Spokane Wedding Photography – Liberty Lake engagement session

We’ve been absent for awhile on the blog, as I had been pregnant, and now have a two month old baby girl, along with our 5 year old daughter! Things have been crazy, but we have started to settle back into a routine. Engagement sessions are in full swing, and I hope you will enjoy these images from my afternoon with Jessica and James! Luckily, the weather cooperated as they had traveled from Kirkland for our session (and to work on their wedding plans.) I had a wonderful time getting to know them, and can’t wait to capture their rehearsal dinner and their wedding in July!

Thanks to the happy couple who not only were open to suggestions but came with their own props, it was a pretty easy shoot. We all agreed we had a beautiful location to capture these images. Yesterday I had the pleasure of photographing Tiffany and Nick’s engagement session. We had a bit of difficulty deciding where to shoot, so I contacted Melissa at Apple Brides, who referred me to 231 North Event Center in Reardan. I’m so glad she did! Husband and wife team Anthony and Tessa Wicks immediately invited us to their beautiful wedding venue. They couldn’t have been nicer…I can only imagine how great it must be to have a wedding there! Enjoy this sneak peek of Tiffany and Nick. I look forward to telling you more about them when I post their complete engagement session!

Robby & Christina – Murfreesboro Engagement Photography

It was so much fun getting together with Robby and Christina for their engagement session at Cannonsburg Village in Murfreesboro. We were lucky enough to have perfect weather and amazing light throughout the session.

These two are rabid University of Kentucky fans…in case you couldn’t tell. I expect to see some Kentucky blue on their big day…maybe a Wildcat Groom’s cake??? We’ll see!

Nashville Engagement Photography – Lauren & Jay

I recently got together with Lauren and Jay to shoot their engagement session in Nashville. Lauren looked amazing with her classic look, and I loved her sweater and pearls! We were able to beat MOST of the heat (and a few sprinkles) by shooting pretty early, which also gave us some wonderful light. Lauren and Jay…I hope you love the images!
