I recently got together with Lauren and Jay to shoot their engagement session in Nashville. Lauren looked amazing with her classic look, and I loved her sweater and pearls! We were able to beat MOST of the heat (and a few sprinkles) by shooting pretty early, which also gave us some wonderful light. Lauren and Jay…I hope you love the images! You’re a wonderful couple and deserve a lifetime of happiness, always!

I love how the pictures capture the essence Lauren and Jay as they are, without generic poses, falsity, or fake smiles. Their happiness transcends through each picture, and each one is beautifully shot. Congratulations, and best wishes to the happy couple!!

Jessica and Beck were married at RippaVilla Plantation in Spring Hill one very hot day in July. Jessica is so absolutely gorgeous it could have been 120 degrees with 100% humidity, and she STILL would have looked amazing!
Since it’s my job to document the events of the day, I enjoyed documenting not only the wonderful moments throughout the wedding but the “warmth” of the day by capturing some moments that clearly express the heat….see if you can find them in the blog!
No matter the weather, Jessica and Beck had a beautiful ceremony with very heartfelt vows they wrote themselves. Jessica spoke of how they may experience tough moments in their lives…that it won’t always be easy… and that they will get through it….together. Jessica and Beck have been together since high school, and their amazing connection to each other was very easy to see. It was my honor to be there on their day.

these pictures are truly beautiful and the photographer has alot of talent.
I recently met Hajar and Chancelor at Bicentennial Mall to shoot their engagement session one early and very warm morning. They were in town from California to plan their Spring 2011 wedding and had a full weekend for sure. The early morning shoot gave us some great light and ultimately some great photos. We had a lot of fun and I really enjoyed working with these guys because they were light hearted and liked to harass each other quite a bit. Here are a few of my favorite images from the day.

Ashlea, the pictures look GREAT!!! You can’t even tell that it’s 7am and already 80 something degrees outside =) I am sooooo excited and can not wait to see the rest of them once you’re done. Chancelor & I have already started arguing over which ones we’re going to use on our save-the-dates but I’m sure that’s no surprise….lol It was such a pleasure working with you and I am definitely looking forward to you shooting our wedding. Thanks again for being personable and so easy to work with. Job well done =)
