About Ashlea
I originally moved to the Nashville area over 10 years ago for the same reason many others do everyday...music. My creativity, however, has come to be expressed in a different way; through my lifelong interest in photography.
My photographic style is a blend of modern wedding photojournalism and relaxed traditional portraiture. Translated, that means candid, fresh, fun, and comfortable. Stuffy and overly formal are certainly not characteristic of who I am. Of course fun and comfortable do not always come to mind when you think about photography, at least if you're the one in front of the camera. I suppose that's why I strive to know each and every client or couple I meet. The more I can learn about what makes you and your relationship unique, the better your pictures will be.
We all have our work, and I'm one of the lucky ones who actually enjoys what I do for a living, but above all else, I am a wife and mother to a beautiful little girl. My family is my foundation and I am grateful to have them in my life each and every day.
